Moles

Moles and larger hairy moles can usually be removed under a local anaesthetic as an outpatient procedure. It takes about 30 minutes. If the mole is on your face, non-dissolvable stitches are used to close the skin and covered with skin-coloured tape and should be kept dry. They will be removed 5-7 days later by myself or your General Practitioner whichever is more convenient for you. If the mole is on any other part of your body, the stitches will be removed 2 weeks later.
